god damn, if they had really killed her, that would’ve been brutal. not just because she died, but because of how she died.
they gave us just enough for kids to feel unsettled without feeling devastated (see: HTTYD 2 and the kids’ reactions to stoick’s death; that went too far, apparently), but more than enough for older viewers’ imaginations to run wild. that is not a pleasant way to go.
anyway–i’m so glad that she’s okay.
